We’re still cleaning up the mess here after the windstorm. It took a week to get electricity, and two for things like telephones and the internet. So we do feel grateful for these simple things that we normally take for granted. And it must be noted that our fearless mail carrier never stopped delivering the mail…
Still, we are sad that we lost some of our most venerable trees to the wind, while still others were mutilated in order to untangle powerlines and such, and the debris is still piled high and wide… the landscape is not a pretty one!
So in the spirit of the season, we had to put at least one tree up. She may have gotten a little extra attention this year…
