Stage 2: Schematic Design

This stage constitutes the major part of the creative process. A Schematic Design is a broad design concept that proposes overall layout, aesthetic elements, and materials. This takes at least several weeks, if not more.

In the First Design Review meeting, we present the proposed garden concepts in a site plan accompanied by “inspiration” images to help visualize the look and feel. If necessary, 3D renderings illustrate particular spaces.

As you provide feedback, we discuss any major adjustments or revisions. We then schedule a Second Design Review meeting, generally about ? weeks later.

In the Second Review meeting, we review the changes made, and discuss any further adjustments, which at this point should be minor and final.
